Organic products grown in the Sacred Valley of Peru.

All of our products are sourced directly from farmers in Peru and grown the same way the Incas did over 500 years ago.

Who We Are

Sacred Valley Organic, Inc. is a Utah benefit corporation that was established with the desire to connect international markets with Peruvian organic producers. Our Latin American operations are based out of the Sacred Valley (near Cusco, Perú) where we operate more than 200 acres of farmland. We focus on creating beneficial relationships with local farmers, artisans, growers, producers, and distillers. By doing such, we create new opportunities for developing organic producers and other artisans though our network of international buyers, organic export education, business connections and co-impact initiatives.

Empowering Sustainable Poverty Reduction Systems.

The mission of Sacred Valley Organic is to connect our partners in the rural areas of Perú and Chile with international markets by establishing a network of buyers and strategic sourcing relationships. Why is this so important? The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has shown, the key to sustainable poverty reductions is by (1) broad-based economic development though (2) agricultural programs in rural areas in which (3) international capital markets facilitate the economic rural development. If you’d like to join us in participating in a system that’s been designed specifically to reduce poverty and increase sustainability we’d love to talk!

Why a “Benefit Corporation.”

In Utah, a benefit corporation is a for-profit entity that considers society and the environment in addition to “profit” within its corporate decision-making process. Because our team and vision first originated out of our charitable efforts in rescuing at-risk orphaned children in the Sacred Valley through the charitable operations of the Sunflower Children’s Home, the decision to create a benefit corporation was automatic.  As such, Sacred Valley Organic acts as the sustainable engine to power the charitable work of the Sunflower Children’s Home and its growing list of strategic initiatives (e.g., creation of foster care system in Perú, rescuing and educating single mothers, micro-finance of local artisans, local clean water projects, etc.). Though this benefit corporation a large portion of our profits are donated to the aforementioned initiatives.
